Each year a Search and Rescue Team member who has demonstrated exemplary behavior will be given the honor of SAR Member of the Year.
To be considered for this award the member must be in good standing for a full fiscal year, be willing to volunteer on extra projects, have above average attendance, be a “Team Player,” wear the appropriate uniform, abide by the department rules and regulations, and lastly have a good call-out attendance.
